During the application process, we collect some personal information from you. Keeping this information private is of paramount importance to us, so for that reason we have a rigorous policy regarding data retention.
Active Accounts
If you have signed a lease and moved into a Vesta building, your application information will be retained for 6 years from the date you move out. After that point, our systems automatically delete it. During the period from when you move out, up until when it is deleted, the data is only accessible from an archive to a senior admin on the team. The lease agreement you signed is currently required by tax law to be retained indefinitely as it is a record relating to property.
Dormant Accounts
To protect user privacy, accounts created on vestaliving.ie that haven't entered into a lease agreement within 6 months will be deleted. This policy applies even if you made an application which was approved.
Vesta team members are unable to retrieve deleted account data. If you wish, you will be able to start a new application.
Data Access Requests
In line with our privacy policy, if you wish for your data to be removed, you can request deletion at any time by emailing support@vestaliving.ie. Please note, if you have signed a lease and have moved in, even if just for a short period, we are unable to remove or delete any data in line with the policy detailed above.
